Journie Newman was born on May 10th, 2008 in Anchorage, AK. She is described by her Mom as being a smart, hardworking, young lady. Mrs. Smith describes her as a dedicated student. Her favorite memory of high school was attending the Spring ASAG trip to Barrow in 2024. The best advice she has for a successful high school career is to be yourself and have fun. Journie would like to thank her Mom, her family, and friends for always being there for her, and always pushing her to do more. Journie plans to go tendering on the Pacific Quest this summer, and plans to attend Fort Lewis College in the Fall majoring in Early Childhood Education!
