SAND POINT EAGLES RUN — RUN — RUN !!!

The Sand Point Eagles Cross-Country Team had their first meet of the season in Dutch Harbor last weekend. We had a great trip out on the ferry and were joined by runners from King Cove and False Pass. It turned out to be a very nice day for running in Dutch Harbor. The Sand Point Eagles were led by Lizzy Turner who placed 1st in the AEBSD, and second overall. In the Jr. High race Colten Mack placed 1st in the AEBSD, and 3rd over-all. Julia Johnson placed 2nd in the Jr.High AEBSD race and 2nd overall. Rounding out the team for the Eagles were Alex Gilbert and Levi Jones. The next race will be the Region 1 South meet in Chevek, on September 25th. Lizzy Turner will be representing the Sand Point Eagles in this race. Wish her luck when you see her!!!
