TelAlaska Cellular’s Change SIM Card

TelAlaska Cellular is making an important changw, internally, to better serve you. This change will allow us to continue to provide superior customer service and help keep costs low.

In order to make this change we need your assistance.

All cell phones, regardless of brand, contain a “SIM” Card, which is a small computer chip that is unique to your account and allows your phone to operate on TelAlaska Cellular’s Network.

TelAlaska Cellular must provide all existing customers with a new SIM Card.

Your cell phone SIM Card must be replaced with a new card to continue receiving service. To make the SIM card switch-over as easy and enjoyable as possible, we have planned a community even, hosted by TelAlaska Cellular representatives. The representatives will be there to make the switch-over while you visit with neighbors and friends are enjoy complimentary refreshments.

We will be contacting you in the coming weeks with a date and location for the event in your community. It will take up to 10 minutes to provide you with a new SIM card and make changes in our system. Please be advised that once you leave the event with your phone and new SIM card it will take another 45 minutes for your phone to work again.

Customers who have met initial contract service requirements and are signing a new two-year contract will receive a new cell phone, absolutel FREE, compliments of TelAlaska Cellular. 

If you are out of town on the day of your community event, please contact us as soon as possible to make arrangements for your new SIM card. A final cutover for our area has been planned for December 10th 2011. Any phones without a new SIM card will no longer work on TelAlaska Cellular’s network after that date.
