The Ladies of Sand Point end the 2019 Sockeye Classic with a very respectable 4th place finish. The Lady Eagles dominated the boards on the defensive and offensive end, preventing Bristol Bay from really engaging their offense. The Eagles prepare for their upcoming road trip which begins next week, stretching for 2 weeks and including the Ninilchik Invitational and Crowley Classic. The Eagles came out roaring at the start of the first half going into the second quarter with a seven point lead over the Wolverines. Slowly Dillingham began get their game warmed up and then shifted into high gear to take down the win and a birth to the championship against the King Cove T-Jacks for the 2019 Sockeye Classic.

Sheer domination for the Rookies as they march their way into the championship game at the 2019 Sockeye Classic. Elana Mack scores an incredible 47 points, almost her 3rd time getting 50 points in a single game. At the end of the game hang on for a special interview with Coach Shadow and Coach Lamar.

The T-Jacks handily defeat the Lynx from Manakotak as they get their birth into the championship game tomorrow, February 2nd. The T-Jacks remain undefeated and wait to see if they will spar against the squad from Sand Point or Dillingham tomorrow.

The Rookies dominated their first matchup of the Sockeye Classic and make it known that they are the team to beat going through the tournament. The game was disrupted by a power outage during the 3rd quarter so there is a delay that occurs in the latter half of the online stream.

The King Cove T-Jacks coast through their first game of the tourney, using their height and experience to conquer the Bristol Bay Angels in classic T-Jack fashion. They earn their way to the next round where anticipation is high that they will be the main challengers of Dillingham for the 1st place trophy.

Sand Point plays the whole bench in this strong start to the 2019 Sockey Classic in Dillingham, Alaska. Controlling the flow and pace of the game from the very beginning, the Eagles showed themselves to be a force to contend with going ahead into this weekend tournament!

The Lady Eagles worked hard in this game that came down to the final seconds. Sand Point led for the majority of the match up but Aleknagik kept their cool and slowly clawed their way back into the game after the half-time break. Sand Point got into foul trouble late into the game which gave the Lakers the edge they needed to hold onto their lead as time ran out of regulation.
