A doctoral student is looking for 100 Alaska Natives to participate in a research study about the health care in Sand Point, Alaska. Your community leaders and EATS organization have approved this anonymous/confidential study. Your name, address and phone number WILL NOT be used in this study. In fact, the research asks you to not identify yourself. The survey has four demographic questions about you and is widely spaced to prevent your identity.
The survey has 23 questions, with six questions requesting you to add any personal experiences in the clinic which should tak you 15 to 20 minutes to complete. A $10 gratuity will be included for your participation. This study is designed to understand the medical needs of Sand Point; and to assist EATS in serving you better.
If you decide to participate in this study, you need to go to the clinic and ask for a sealed confidential envelope. No names will be taken. Principal investigator, Wendy Whitney FNP, Doctoral student, 907-381-6008, 801-541-2995.
