Job Description: The Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director performs various office duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

Responsibilities:

-Acts as general administrative support for the Tribal Council, president and Executive Director, and Tribal office staff performing general office duties.

-Assists and respond to inquiries requiring knowledge if tribal government and responsibilities.

-Attends council meetings, assists with preparation of council meetings, keeps and prepares minutes, prepares and posts pertinent notices, assists with tribal elections, serves as the enrollment clerk.

-Organizes and maintains files and records.

-Other duties include but are not limited to: faxing, copying, answering telephone, taking messages, ordering supplies and materials.

-Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

-High school graduate or equivalent

-Excellent people skills

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Ability to work idependently

-Excellent knowledge of computers and other office machines

-Have a valid Alaska driver’s license

A Message From The Principal
Hello Everyone,
Our boys and girls basketball teams have been
busy. Last weekend our boys hosted King Cove
here at Sand Point. Both were exciting games and
the second game came down to the final shot. Also
last weekend our girls were at King Cove for
competitions. Our lady eagles represented us
well, learned a lot, and had a great time. Good job
teams!

Game times tonight: Girls Game 6 p.m.
Boys 7:30 VTC @ Library
Game time Saturday: Girls Game 10 a.m.
There will be an admission fee of $1 for students
and $2 for adults. There is no fee for babies or
Senior Citizens. See you all here!
**There will also be concessions by the Student
Council and raffle tickets being sold by other
groups.

The Sand Point Girl’s Basketball
Team is selling raffle tickets. Prizes
include: PenAir ticket, iPad 2, and
Trident gas cards. The tickets are
$10.00 each and can be purchased
from any of the girls on the team.
The drawing will be held at our home
game on February 24th.

This weekend our players again face the King Cove
teams. Our Sand Point Lady Eagles host the King
Cove Rookies here and our Sand Point Boys Eagles
are doing battle in King Cove against the T-Jacks.
Friday night is Senior Night so come and support
our girls and enjoy the game. These will be the
last home games for our senior players Anne and
Nikki. We wish them well. Go Eagles!

The 7th grade is selling raffle tickets for 3 benches
that were made in 7th grade wood shop. Tickets are $10
each. The drawing will be during half time at the game
tonight! Many tickets have been sold but there are still

Dates: March 25th-April 26th
Tournament: April 26th-28th
Selection Sunday: March 25th, 7:00 PM
@City Council Chambers
Info: Sign up sheet located at AC.
 $20 fee to participate (must be received by Selection Sunday)
 Teams will be co-ed, 7-8 players
 One woman must be on the court/team
 Games will be scheduled Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (depending on number of teams) and will start at 8 PM.
 2-25 minute halfs with a running clock and volunteer refs.
 Jerseys for teams will be provided for the season.
