The Alaska Department of Fish & Game (ADF&G) has completed analysis of the 2011 Tanner crab survey results for the South Peninsula, Chignik and Kodiak districts. The South Peninsula District will open for Tanner crab fishing in January 2012 with a total guideline harvest level (GHL) of 1,620,000 pounds. The Chignik District will open with a total GHL of 700,000 pounds. The Kodiak District will open with a total GHL of 950,000 pounds.

Tickets are available to Shareholders and one year residents and are limited to one per household. The ticket drawings will take place on October 28, 2011 at 12:30PM. Hunting will take place between November 1, 2011 and January 31, 2012 for winning ticket holders after they have obtained a tag.
