ALASKA STATE COUNCIL ON THE ARTS HOLDS ANNUAL COUNCIL MEETING

The Alaska State Council on the Arts will be holding their annual council meeting on Friday and Saturday, June 22-23, 2012. The meeting is open to the public and will be held at the Alaska State Council on the Arts, 161 Klevin Street, Suite 102, Anchorage, Alaska.

In addition to other business, the Council will award annual grants to Alaska’s arts and cultural institutions for the fiscal year 2012-2013.

The council will meet according to the following schedule:

Friday, June 22, 2012, 12:00 Noon-5:00PM

Saturday, June 23, 9:00AM-2:00PM

The mission of the Alaska State Council on the Arts (ASCA) is to foster the development of the arts for all Alaskans through education, partnership, grants and services. ASCA is a division of the Alaska Department of Education and Early Development, and is governed by eleven council members appointed by the governor. It is supported with general funds.
