Red Ribbon Week
Celebrate Red Ribbon Week Not Just For A Week, But For Life!!
Citizens of Aleutians East Borough are celebrating in honor of Red Ribbon Week during October 23-31st. Red Ribbon is an important tradition for the community with its primary mission to promote healthy youth and communities while reducing the demand for illegal drugs and illegal use of legal drugs.
Red Ribbon Week is nationally recognized and celebrated, helping to preserve Special Agent Kiki Camarena’s memory and further the cause for which he gave his life. Participate in you local schools and help celebrate red ribbon week not just for a week, but for life.
For more information on Red Ribbon Week, contact K-12 Tobacco Prevention Coordinator George Cromer III at (907) 383-2393.
