John Zbitnoff from the Alaska Aerospace Corporation/Kodiak Launch Complex will be having an informational meeting with the leaders in Sand Point to discuss using our village for tracking satellite launches from Kodiak. The meeting will be in the City Council Chambers.

The Annual Winter Holiday Bazaar Sponsored by the Senior Class of the Sand Point School is December 14th from Noon to 3:00 at the School!
There will be raffles, a cake walk, a bake sale, there will even be more of those YUMMY SUNDAES for sale, the Book Fair, and much much more! This will be your last chance for the 7th grade raffle and the boys basketball raffle as the drawings will happen at the bazaar!
If you would like to reserve a table to sell gifts, food, crafts, etc. see one of the Seniors or you may call the school at 383-2393 and leave a message as well.

The results from the latest PSP tests done on butter clams from the Sand Point airport beach on November 18, 2013 had reduced PSP toxin level of 66 Micrograms and is BELOW the FDA limit of 80 micrograms.

The Sand Point Medical Clinic along with the State Puplic Health Nurse will be hosting an open vaccine clinic from 1pm to 4:30pm on Wednesday, December 4th. No appointment is necessary. Vaccines will be given on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. There will be a limited supply of nasal vaccines for children 2-18 years of age.
