ALEUTIA ANNUAL MEETING NOTICE
The Aleutia Board of Directors will hold its annual membership meeting Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 7 p.m. at the Aleutians East Borough office in Sand Point. Communities outside Sand Point will be linked telephonically.
Attend the meeting to:
· Hear an overview of the 2012 season and expectations for the 2013 season
· Elect two board members (one at-large, one Sand Point seat)
· Receive your 2012 retro check!
Remember, you have to be a member to attend the entire meeting (and vote). We’ll have membership applications available at the meeting, but we encourage you to join earlier.

-Working knowledge of ANCSA regional, non-profit corporations and Alaska tribal issues.
-Ability to work with minimal supervision and discretion in working with staff and public.

-Recommending budgets, programs, policies and procedures to President for the Board of Directors.
-Represents the corporation on boards and commissions.
-Annual Reviews
-Motivation and supervising support staff

The skiff is to be sold by the Aleutians East Borough School District to the highest bidder with a minimum of $5,000. Sealed bids may be submitted or mailed to the District Office at the address above. No warranties are provided and a release of liability form will be required upon purchase. The buyer will be responsible for moving the skiff.

Position: Environmental Coordinator Assistant
Status: EXEMPT: Part-time (20 hours per week)
Compensation: $14.39/hour Plus Limited Fringe Benefits/DOE
Duration: This position is funded by an Environmental Protection Agency, (EPA) grant under the Indian General Assistance Program, (IGAP) and continuation of this position is dependent upon adequate funding and the needs of the Tribe.
Supervision: GAP Environmental Coordinator and/or Tribal Administrator
Job Description: The Environmental Coordinator Assistant works under the direction and supervision of the GAP Environmental Coordinator/or Tribal Administrator and is responsible for assisting the Tribal Environmental Coordinator to meet the goals and objectives of IGAP. The Assistant will be assisting in the completion of the work plan included in the EPA/GAP grant proposal submitted by the Pauloff Harbor Tribe.
Responsibilities and Duties:
*Record Minutes from Advisory Meetings
*Publish Newsletter
*Assist Coordinator to establish the Environmental Program according to the work plan
*Assist Coordinator in an Environmental Training/Education Program for the Tribe
*Answer incoming telephone calls, record and distribute messages
*General operations and maintenance of office machines and equipment
*Typing, filing, research and other duties as assigned.
*Recycling Center operations
*All other duties assigned
Required Knowledge and Skills:
*Ability to Travel
*Knowledge of Tribal Council and/or how they function
Native Preference: Consistent with P.L. 93-638, as amended, and the regulations the EPA/IGAP, Pauloff Harbor Tribal Council will exercise the Native Preference in recruiting and hiring for this position.
