The WorkKeys tests to be given Tuesday,
November 20, 2012. This test will be
administered to all Juniors (Seniors may take the
test if requested). ACT WorkKeys is a job skills
assessment system that helps employers select,
hire, train, develop, and retain a high-performance
workforce. This series of tests measures
foundational and soft skills and offers specialized
assessments to target institutional needs.
WorkKeys has helped millions of people in high
schools, colleges, professional associations,
businesses, and government agencies build their
skills to increase global competitiveness and
develop successful career pathways.
Successful completion of WorkKeys assessments
in Mathematics, Locating Information, and Reading
for Information can lead to earning ACT’s
National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC), a
portable credential earned by more than 1 million
people across the United States.
Instruments Needed

they feel their child’s grades are not
satisfactory.
A Note from our Librarian
The time is coming for some serious preparation for the Battle of the Books. Please encourage the
kids to select Battle Book titles for their reading. We now have the practice questions printed off in
the library. The questions can go out to students in grades 3-12.
Let’s all help the kids shine in this wonderful competition across the district and the state.
From time to time we may have an error while composing the AR Listings. I’d like to express my
sincere apologies ahead of time for any mistakes and will do my best to report the list as accuratly
as possible.
Thank you for your support.
