School District Board Meeting August 20, 2012
There will be a School District Board Meeting this upcoming Monday, August 20, 2012. It will be put over video conference at all of the school sites and will be held in Sand Point at the School District. This meeting is open to the public and agendas are posted around the communities.

Sand Point School Enrollment Notice
Registration & Enrollment for the new 3 year old pre-school students and for students new to the community will be held at the Sand Point School on August 13th and 14th, 2012 from 1 to 4PM. Packets for returning students will be arriving in your mailbox this week. The first day August 22, 2012. Please return these packets to the school on or before August 223, 2012.
Preschoool students are required to be 3 years old as of September 1, 2012. Kindergarten students are required to be 5 years old as of September 1, 2012. Immunization records, Birth Certificates and prior school contact information will be required at the time of enrollment.

Responsibilities:
The class room aid will work to assist in providing quality education. Duties may include, but may not be limited to: instruction under direction of a certified teacher, organizing daily lessons, correcting papers, and participating in screening and student assessment. The Aide must work successfully with children, communicate with parents in parental visits to school, direct and be capable of maintaining control of students in order to help promote an effective educational environment.
Terms of Employment: Range IV, $14.01 to $17.20 per hour, DOE. Hours per week to be determined.
