Anyone interested in becoming an on-call driver for ambulance, call Denise Mobeck at the Police Station by Thursday, October 30th, 2014 to sign up. Training will be held on Friday, October 31st, 2014, time TBA.
Free training classes to become an ETT (Emergency Trauma Technician) will be held December 7-15th, 2014, evenings and weekends at the Fire Hall in Sand Point. The instructor is Susan Shoemaker. Contact Denise Mobeck at the Police Department to register or if you have any questions. Class is limted to 8 students.
EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) refresher class will also be held at this time.

The results from the latest PSP tests done on butter clams from the Sand Point airport beach on October 10, 2014 had elevated PSP toxin level of 236 micrograms and is well ABOVE the FDA limit of 80 micrograms.
