On July 14, 2014, a woman about 40 years old was reported to be intoxicated while driving with a child in the vehicle by an anonymous caller. After being pulled over by the Sand Point Police, the driver stated that she didn’t have anything to drink. After this proved to be false as she failed all three of the sobriety tests. After she refused the chemical test, officer Tupper then proceeded to arrest her with two charges of DUI and refusal, and was admitted to the Sand Point Jail without further incident.
